Finding Peace in the Aftermath of 2020
Are you ready for finding peace in the coming New Year?
It may feel like 2020 has been the worst year ever with the pandemic, political tension, and talk of economic faltering, but we can usher the remnants of this out from the core of our being by finding peace and learning to let go…each of us owns the power to do so.
Where do we start?
Choose to Change or Let It Go
One of the best ways for protecting your well-being and finding peace is by adopting a mindful practice of changing what you can change and letting go of everything else. Take a deep breath, let it go. Did you feel that?
Breaking it down (digging in deeper for just a moment): To let it all go, you must first look realistically at life’s circumstances…anything that is leading you to stress. Take responsibility for what you can act upon or change. Beyond that, treat it as normal life, something you have learned from, or grieved over, and then release it.
Jill Bolte Taylor (author and neuroanatomist) said it well…
“To experience peace does not mean that your life is always blissful. It means that you are capable of tapping into a blissful state of mind amidst the normal chaos of a hectic life.”
Life can certainly be tough. But you can bring an element of self-care into existence that will help you with releasing what stresses you, help you with finding peace, and for claiming a renewed version of you in the New Year. It is possible…and we are dedicated to helping you step into that world of harmony and balance.
Clean Start for the New Year
How can you begin the New Year (Let go of 2020!) with a fresh start? One easy way is to present yourself or a loved one with one of our gift cards (Christmas is coming!).
Imagine boosting your well-being through a custom massage, essential oil wrap, infrared sauna, cupping, or a spa package. Not to leave out the healing properties of Himalayan salt therapy (especially in this pandemic).
Salt therapy may be just what you need to get that true clean beginning, as it cleanses the respiratory system, improves lung function, and boosts the immune system.
Each of these services can help reduce stress and help you with finding peace. Massage by itself, however, comes with some beautiful proven benefits. The widespread use of massage results in stress reduction and positive treatment for anxiety.
Over a dozen clinical studies report that massage produces significant antidepressant effects that diminish the symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. Diminished anxiety = greater peace.
When we feel better physically, we feel better mentally…and today we all want and need that boost!
